ChaseChase planned to open most Portland-area bank branches as usual Friday. Managers will watch the weather throughout the day and evaluate whether to close early.

Fred MeyerPortland-area Fred Meyer and QFC stores are open and plan to keep operating under normal hours, spokeswoman Melinda Merrill said.

Grocery OutletArea stores are open but may close if safety becomes an issue.
KeyBankKeyBank branches in Medford and Ashland are operating as usual. Branches in the midvalley area (Albany, Brownsville, Corvallis, Lebanon) closed at noon. Branches in Salem, Portland and Vancouver will close at 2:30 p.m.
On Saturday, branches in the midvalley area (Albany, Brownsville, Corvallis, Lebanon) will be closed. Branches in Portland are expected to resume normal hours.

Multnomah VillageThe scheduled First Friday shopping event has been canceled.
New Seasons MarketAll stores open. The company said it would post update on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Pioneer PlaceOpen, but not all stores will be open. The mall recommends calling ahead. It said it would update on closing times this afternoon.

Portland Farmers MarketThe Winter Market at Shemanski Park will be closed Saturday.
Powell'sCedar Hills Crossing closing at 2 p.m. and Hawthorne store closing at 3 p.m. The Burnside store may close early, but a time has not been set. Updates will be available at 800-878-7323.
QFCPortland-area Fred Meyer and QFC stores are open and plan to keep operating under normal hours, spokeswoman Melinda Merrill said.
Sterling BankBranches are open as usual today but may close early pending the weather.
TargetOregon and Southwest Washington stores are open as usual.
