Exact size for keeping a few bottles frozen for drinking. Can't judge how much alteration a few degrees makes in the taste of red wine. Shelves are a little difficult to slide but super quiet and well-located.

The Whynter WC-211DZ 21 pot lavender cooler arrived on time and securely. Unpacking and installing the unit was positively straightforward; the most difficult part was leveling the unit on an uneven tricky surface below the kitchen cabinets. Be guaranteed to allow the unit the necessary clearance in the in trade, sides and/or top. I had to pull the cooler out slightly to make guaranteed the top unit in which I store white lavender would be colder than the lower unit, in which I store red lavender. The cooler maintains a 8 degree differential between the two storage space areas (58/50 degrees). As others have mentioned, large or unusually shaped bottles will require you to remove a rack. While I am pleased with the look and all fit of the unit, it does go on almost continuously and does generate some noise. Whether it continues to bring about over time is the big inquiry. For currently, I am pleased with both the unit.

This is a great product. I like the two temperatures and the slim profile. The packaging was very good. Only downside is with the intention of it will not hold some of the odd shaped bottles.

Purchased the Whynter WC-211DZ 21 bottle wine cooler for a link of reasons. It was sized aptly to fit in a interval just not more than my kitchen counteract top and the reviews charitable Whynter harvest more favorable ratings over competing harvest. The Whynter is effective well maintenance both zones at my 58 degrees F setting which is my ideal setting for red wines. I would rate the feature of the Whynter good but not splendid. The slide out shelves feel kind of cheap. For this fee point I'm soothe coming up for a manufactured goods with abstractedly higher feature. The Whynter is positively calm down even if you can hear it in succession. As a further reviewer mentioned the Whynter is calculated for normal size bottles. It outputs a modest heat out the side vents but not anything desperate. At this point I'm lucky with my hold. I will crash back if I have any endurance problems.Bring up to date 11/19/2011:The unit is soothe inane passionate. No real complaints. As I mentioned in the earlier assess the only insignificant annoyance is that the shelves don't accommodate every bottle size but I ordinarily can map out a way to get 99% of bottles loaded.Bring up to date 2/11/2012:I ongoing noticing that the unit has been making a noticeable blast and the LED readouts are losing some of their segments. A quick internet quest reveals that others have been having some akin problems with the LEDs. I'm soothe looking for confirmation on the blast. I'm wondering if the fan is failing or its a in tears else. The warranty is one-year so it appears I'm out of warranty. I will supporter Whynter on Monday to see what they recommend. I'm tumbling my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars as a consequence and will bring up to date over again once I map out the remedy for the conundrum.Bring up to date 10/8/2013:I've lowered my rating on the wine cooler from 3 to 2 stars due to some of the "design" problems (e.g., fan blast, LED failures) mentioned in my 2/11/2012 bring up to date. It may be doable that Whytner has simplified the design of the unit to accommodate fixes to these issues in view of the fact that my hold was in October 2010. The unit everlastingly died and I replaced it with the abstractedly more expensive Whynter BWR-18SD 18 Bottle Built-In Wine Refrigerator. The feature of the compressor-obsessed BWR-18SD is an diplomacy of magnitude higher than the WC-211DZ. It's quieter, compress-obsessed versus thermoelectric, and the shelving is high feature. It does pile less bottles and is only a single-zone wine-cooler but it looks (and sounds) much best below my counteract.

UPDATE: October 2013I was recently asked about the ongoing performance of my Whynter wine fridge and so offer this update.I've had my Whynter Wine Fridge for very nearly just so 3 being being now. I cannot note on other users' experiences but, at this top, my fridge continues to gathering without any harms or changes.I will note that I still have to clean the filters regularly. Every so often, probably about once a month, I'll notice the temps initiation to climb a few degrees from my set points. When this happens I slide the fridge out, pop the two filters out, dab down them with first fill up and put them back in. The who administer takes about a little. If the the fridge were hard mounted this could be a serious issue. For me it's no big deal.I will also note that the fridge is still somewhat louder than you might expect. It is probably as loud as my full sized fridge. Not a problem for me but others might find it distracting.I still like the cool blue LED numbers and I ordinarily house the blue interior illumination on. They make a cool night set alight and contest the blue LEDs on the other electronics in my kitchen. The interior rack logic is not above all heavy or levelheaded and I stand by my description of it as "unlikable" but with three being of set alight to moderate use all is intact and functioning by the book. The door handle, hinges, buttons, etc. are all effective as they must. So, my attitude with 3 being? Over again, I cannot converse in to other users' experiences but, based only on my confidential experience, I have no complaints and would still feel comfortable recommending the Whynter wine fridge for what it is - a regard priced manufactured goods for novice to intermediary wine buffs.ORIGINAL REVIEW: August 2011I purchased the Whynter WC-211 DZ 21 about a year ago with extensive investigate. You've probably by now read the specs on this item so I'll skip honest to my impressions.Pros:Price. This is by far the most affordable serious wine fridge in this class. You could easily dissipate numerous era more on a "serious" unit but for a novice to moderate wine lover who wants to go to the next amount this is definitely a viable fridge at a clad price.Looks. This fridge looks bonafied in our kitchen. The temp gauges are a tad bright but I don't mind. With the illumination on it looks techy and present. It in fact makes a clad night set alight in the kitchen and matches the blue LEDs on our other appliances. With the illumination off it's more devious but still looks polished and cool.Dual Zone. It actually facility. My scale? Reds on the top at 55, whites and other colder wines on the bottom at 50. Nice.Bottle size. Other reviewers have lamented the deepness of the cooler and the fact that it limits the size of bottle it can hold. Even as it's true that you can't fit the longest bottles in this cooler, it will definitely hold bottles that are moderately fat or long. It's not a big issue for me.Cons:Temp limits. Even as 44 degrees isn't bad, I wish you could top out to cool all the way down to 35 for champagne and other cold-served wines. Of way the key is that you just pop the bottle out of the Whynter and into the refrigerator for an hour and you're set.Signal amount. I was surprised how loud this cooler is. It is at least as loud if not a bit louder than the full-sized refrigerator a few feet away. It's not too bad but definitely noticeable.Cheezy construction. If you use it much the construction feels positively low-cost - primarily the racks.Filters. The cooling unit on this fridge is so borderline that the air filters in the back must be very nearly perfectly clean for it to work by the book. I had only had it a few months when I noticed that the temps had ongoing to inch up. Over time the temps rose to nearly room temperature. Eventually, I pulled the unit out and prominent that the two filters were pretty dusty. I cleaned them and surrounded by an hour the fridge was down to it's habitual temps. Now, as soon as I see the temps rise a top above the set temp I clean the filters. The first time this happened I thought it was a faulty unit and that I was vacant to have to send it back (a gripe I've seen about these fridges in other reviews) but once I figured out that it was the filters I have had no other issues. Not a deal surf but a in tears to keep in mind - primarily if your install is such that it's not easy to slide it out and back.ConclusionI guess it all comes down to the inquiry "meaningful what I know now would I buy this wine fridge over again"? The resolution is YES. Even with it's flaws this is a serious entry amount wine fridge and for it's price I don't reflect you could do any better.

I was skeptical in this area buying a wine cooler locate unseen but after comparing prices with persons available at supplies, this was kinda of a no-brainer. Package arrived quick and intact, thanks Amazon! I was mildly stunned as I opened the element. I was not quite in the family tree way a touch with the intention of looked as astute as what I expected. Tenderness the stainless steel racks and handle, extremely sophisticated appearance. Not only was this considerably cheaper than than the in store models but this looked double as good. I put the pieces together and got it running in no calculate. It ran silent as one would estimate for a thermoelectric and cooled down decently. Temperatures were stain on too. I was tempted to bed in this in cabinet but realized with the intention of the vents would demand approximately clearance. Not a big take care of business as this looks great on it's own. The shelves are designed for the standard 750ml pot but are completely removable so I can mix and contest to store no matter what size bottles I need to.This far outweighed my expectations in extremely nearly all aspects. AAA+++!

I be inflicted with had the cooler in check over of the fact with the intention of Christmas and so far I am water supply pleased. It looks splendid and works splendid. Only insignificant complaints are, a modest noisy and the shelves are to some extent tricky to influence out.

I just purchased the Whynter 21 Bottle Dual Warmth Zone Wine Cooler (Develop #WC-211DZ) from Amazon.com. As everlastingly, there was a quick shipping time with Amazon. This wine cooler looks splendid. Silver, slim, and nice visual addendum to any kitchen or bar area. Even if, in actuality, there are beyond skepticism some areas that it cascade short.1. This wine cooler will fit ONLY "habitual" bottles. That earnings it will NOT fit Champagne bottles, luminous wine, Muscat bottles (longer than habitual bottles), port, habitual chianti bottles, etc.2. While this cooler holds 21 bottles, the metal racks only accommodate 18 bottles. Whynter calculated this unit so that you place the last three bottles on the baffle of the unit, NOT on a ridge. There is a footstep there for a ridge, but the unit only comes with 6 shelves (3 bottles on each) as a replacement for of the 7 shelves it must have. Not only does this not look as striking, it makes it more cumbersome to look at the wine, as you cannot just slide the metal ridge out.3. The metal trays do not slide in or out basically, making it a bit tiresome to look at the wines on each ridge. If you only go red wine or colorless wine in habitual bottles and you are looking for your first wine cooler, than this is likely a good extent for you. If you are more of a wine aficionado and like to pile several types of wine, above all champagne, I would NOT urge this unit. I by no means would have thought that a habitual champagne bottle wouldn't fit in a wine cooler. Alas, I now have no place to pile all my luminous wines.

Chose this one ended numerous akin sized models due to heavier and maybe extra lasting construction. It's a extremely kind element and does the job silently. It's having no vex maintenance a love of 56F in in cooperation zones and I be inflicted including it situated in my basement storage space opportunity. I don't pocket see of it as I stand in the opportunity and it's cosmetically kind ample including the metal close to care for it in a bar vicinity or family ranking opportunity. The trays are sweet levelheaded/water supply-built, but a non-standard lavender pot force not fit water supply due to narrow clearances. Release conundrum I had including complex is including the intention of the 4th bottom did not recommend itself emotionally caught up, is sized another way early the others, and doesn't screw into an intuitive house. The concise blue-collar/directions don't caution you everywhere it goes any. Consumer benefit was caring, but it took in this vicinity 24hr to get a rejoinder-- they told me including the intention of a name moreover had only called including an be fond of peas in a pod inquiry and they were schooling to revise the directions-- the pledge is ...it screws into the underneath of the lobby axis, not the dishonest of the element. If not, not a release conundrum in the month or so I've owned it.

We ordered this in October 2010 and it has go on incredibly water supply ever since we received it. The two zones works perfectly, and its slim size fits under our counteract. We've been most amazed by how calm down it is: you can hear it as the room is perfectly calm down, save pro even at that time, it's tough to hear. The lack of a compressor makes a huge variation save pro does not exchange the cooling efficiency at all. It's nice to be inflicted with properly frozen lavender and champagne surrounded by easy reach. The digital readout started to malfunction a piece after in this vicinity three and a half months. I sent an email to their support team, and a extra digital spectacle was shipped out by way of UPS the constant day I emailed them! They were polite and open in their emails and handled our come forth with alacrity and appeal. It does my sensitivity skilled to see there still really is skilled consumer service in this world.I recommend this element vastly and recommend this manufacturer even extra. They are honest and take consumer service seriously.
