HOWEVER we bought this three moths ago and the refrigerator part has stopped cooling. The freezer works, but the refrigerator part is at 52degrees and won't go any lower. Since it stopped effective I have gone online and looked at reviews for this refrigerator - and they are all terrible! Now it is making an insanely loud perky noise - so loud I can't hear the radio playing. DO NOT BUY. Opportunely I bought it at Sears and got a warranty - they are appearance to check it out.

We bought this fridge only to discover that it makes REALLY LOUD buzzing sounds on a regular basis. The sound is so loud it sounds like a fire alarm - we can hear it throughout the entire house and wakes the baby up! It is tremendously irritating and makes us doubt Samsung technology. I bought the fridge two months ago - the sensor surrounded by thinks something with the freezer cooling is wrong. There is nothing wrong with the cooling but the beeping will not stop. It goes off each 5 minutes. I found this problem over two weeks ago and Samsung has not resolved the issue. I never enter reviews but income with a nonstop beeping and having samsung take this amount of time to solve the problem makes me motivated to make sure no one else has to deal with these issues. Buy something higher end. Avoid samsung fridge issues.

You can put a SMALL Brita carafe or a 2L pot at the underneath of the door at an angle but you will not be able to put them in the fixed shelves except you take out one, decreasing your storage space room. this was a major annoyance for a week and then I just got used to it.The scary.This fridge makes about six uncommon kinds of noises.
