LG 28 CF French Door Refrigerator SS Buyer Reviews

LG 28 CF French Door Refrigerator SS Buyer ReviewsRead all the reviews before investing ... I didn't. My LG is the one that is cabinet deep - not a good choice.Stainless streaks and is NEVER clean (compared to my other stainless appliances this is pathetic)Ice dispenser has never worked. I was told by LG (whose customer service dept. is in the Philippines) to open the door each time and bang on it (it is 1 month old)Large underside drawer ? Freezes lettuce and fruit. Really odd - instead of two half drawers -- it is one very long one so BOTH top doors have to be open to access it.A useless fridge - poor use of space. Even gallon milk containers are a challenge to fit in correctly.

I love my new refrigerator. I have for many years had side by side and everlastingly had problems with small freezer space but now the double doors and the freezer on the bottom for me is exact. No complaints.

LD french dual drawer was not despondent-cost save pro I cannot nag. This apparatus is genuine straightforward on the eyes. Style of language owing to doorways was a deposit up including - business is exalted! All has worked as described. Hoarfrost maker has a tiny storage bin attatched save pro facility at approximately calculate ago though cubes are smallish. The provisions stays first a allocation longer than the before GE (though including the intention of lone was still effective as we bought this model). It is sweet calm down and thankfully no gargling noises. I desire the reliability holds up ended the being. It looks owing to water supply ample. 30 being earlier cycle I dredge up the abysmal quality of Korean harvest (Samsung VCRs) save pro currently they're constant as Japanese quality so they've owing to great strides. Straightforward to hook up to fill up affect. Extremely skilled interior explanation and charming slider passage. Partner loves it.

I own a different LG refrigerator and it worked well until it stopped, but getting benefit can be impossible. It WAS impossible for me! I lost $400-500 worth of food. LG harvest look very nice, but LG GROSSLY exaggerates the capacities of their fridges. I much prefer my old Amana. Not anything was wrong with my Amana (13 years old); I bought a new LG since I remodeled my kitchen and wanted the look of a new fridge. Last Friday night at 6:00, I discovered that the food in my refrigerator was getting warm. The thermostat said 37 degrees in the refrigerator and freezer was 0 degrees, but food was warm in the refrigerator and equipment in the freezer were melting. I ongoing mission apparatus renovate air force. Most were closed at 6 PM but the ones who did answer said, "Sorry, but we can't work on LG appliances." I asked, "Why not?" I was told, "Since LG will NOT ALLOW us to be a part of their benefit network and LG will NOT let us buy parts." The renovate air force said that they had filled out apps and had been jumping owing to hoops for LG for 1-2 years without success. Since of LG's policies, I lost $400-500 worth of food. Today, Monday, the other renovate air force that I had left post for Friday night have been returning my calls and ALL OF THEM told me the very same thing! LG forces customers to call LG and LG sends a renovate self who charges 2-3 times the going rate, and LG charges sky high prices for parts. The renovate air force said to buy a Vortex, Amana or Kenmore as a substitution for since parts are gamely void and less expensive. Vortex donates to Habitat for Humanity, too. GE parts are the peak, except for LG).

2 door, LG SXS big beautiful, worked for 10 months at that calculate love investigate failed 9 months. Subdue on guarantee/warranty so had a free go investigate positive free labour. New feeler lasted only one year, but as it's now out of guarantee/warranty, I compensated-up. Took 1 week for LG to reach us, weekend, broadcast celebration, unavailable etc. but that's NOT the point, The point is one expects a fridge to last 15, 20 years, as our neighbours and all our before ones did. Feeler is a simple element, BUT it is the 'go/no go' piece for the fridge. If the circuit in the small thermo-whatever element opens, it shuts off the fridge. The tech. didn't know why it would fail. According to the tech. these sensors are made in Thailand, but not by LG, they occur from a 'supplier'. The new feeler looks identical to the initially one, so it may be that LG is accepting these failure-prone sensors without changing/upgrading etc. LG seemed to have no problem with emergency feeler availability. That would deprivation me 1 feeler a year, or a reduced amount of if one is unlucky, as it's only guaranteed for 3 months. Maybe unattractively scour the net for a emergency thermo-whatever, (the tech didn't know the name of the element), and at that calculate fit it myself. I will never buy an LG fridge over again. You wanna buy an LG fridge? You have free will. (I live in Thailand)

May 19, 2014Had I on paper this assess after we owned it for 1 year, I would have given it a 5 star rating. Even if after owning it for 4 years now I would have to give it a 1. In 4 years we have had to have this fridge repaired 4 times, the parts on it are flimsy, there are many small fake parts that have kaput off with just light everyday use. the door never actually clogged by the book and it just keeps contravention down. The fan in the freezer the feeds the ice apparatus is everlastingly getting full of ice which makes the fridge noisey and there have also been harms with the wires that connect the reins in the door. When you open and close the door those wires eventually break and to renovate them is a nightmare. Years ago we used to buy a fridge or a freezer for that matter and they worked for 20 or 30 years lacking ever contravention down. When we bought this house we got the old freezer that’s been in succession non stop for 40 years it probably uses a lot of electricity but it sure is dependable. I would have to give this fridge a big fat 0 when it comes to reliability

My LG 4 door door refrig has failed double now (with at the start year). Sure the exterior point is really sweet, and the shelving well planning out, but the interior piping for fill up is really cheap plastic that has failed TWICE now in different locations. I am NOT talking about the line from the wall outlet to the refrigerator unit. I am talking about the unit fill up piping. Piping that is part of the refrigerator unit. The type of piping for the application is not passable... LG used this type of cheap piping to save money. The failure flooded my kitchen both era. And to top it off, LG service and support is very, very poor to boot. Call backs promised but never received. Parts promised but never received. At the same time I bought the LG refrigerator, I also bought their top of line dishwasher... It too has a serious engineering flaw that caused the counter weight logic on the door to fail. Now the door, when opened, drops to the stump like a lead balloon... I took the apparatus away from each additional and discovered the pully logic for the door uses string! Wow I could not judge it! Of course the problem was caused by the string contravention. Bolt from the blue! I call it extremely cheap engineering (hidden of course so you can't see it....).With researching, apparently I am not the only one to experience these tribulations.I will absolutely avoid all LG appliances. I am deeply disappointed with both my LG appliances.I will never ever buy LG appliances again with my experience with LG....

My wife elected this refrigerator in check over of the fact with the intention of of its spacious interior and ease of use. The ice maker does not take up any interior space in the freezer screened-off area and dispenses in cooperation cubed and crushed ice from a small area tucked into the missing refrigerator lobby. We no longer buy bottled water in check over of the fact with the intention of of the filtered water this apparatus dispenses. You can even house cans or bottles in the lobby in adjoin of he ice maker! Here is very near too greatly opportunity surrounded by the refrigerator with sliding and adjustable shelving to aid with most any agreement you may call for. We have had this for about 3 months now and so far no problems. Our electricity use has dropped and the kitchen is greatly quieter in check over of the fact with the intention of here is no loud compressor creating the cold air.The two shelves for the freezer are very straightforward for my wife to commence and they nature-accurate with little try. They hold all with the intention of we call for but in check over of the fact with the intention of of the large refrigerator space, here seems to be a bit less freezer space. We put less used items into the decrease freezer drawer. In check over of the fact with the intention of here are two drawers, our frozen foods are not all in a disorder together and are easier to organize. We tenderness the fact with the intention of we can fit large items with the intention of may maybe never have found a home in our side-by-side refrigerator. It costs a bundle but if it is for your own confidential use and you don't move almost a lot, I believe you will find it worth the superfluous cash.
