I purchased this fridge on July 1st, 2010. The first thing was the fridge was not cooling but the freezer was fine. We called a repairman. Thankfully, he was reliable. Upon investigating he at the start planning it was the main board. Oh wow, I planning. As he was looking additional, he found the freezer drawer was off just a tad, but ample to cause air to being paid away from causing the freezing up of the back of the freezer. An adjustment and equipment were great. That was last year.Today I noticed the fridge warm and the freezer frozen, again. Check the back, no ice. Blew out the underneath, check for leaks, check the seals, had the ice maker off- all check fine. I ongoing digging additional and found the vents from the freezer to the fridge were not blowing. After 2 years and 2 months we have had to exchange the power panel twice (substitution panel was faulty and was replaced at no charge by the apparatus renovate). finally had it delivered and i love its looks. I LOVE all the space in my fridge compared to the side by side it seems deeper too. It does not make any more blast than my 7 yr old fridgidaire that broke (yes harms with only 7 yrs) Love the sliding freezer drawer...only one minus, I would take upon yourself it came with the fill up top but it doesn't. Also, the right slide out drawer in the refrigerator can not be pulled out without opening both doors of the refrigerator. The freezer design on the Whirlpool is also less user friendly than the Samsung. Lastly, when the compressor kicks on you will be annoyed by the louder than usual sound. Therefore I will be replacing this refrigerator with a Samsung refrigerator, even even if I have a strain new Whirlpool.

I bought the fridge two months ago - the sensor surrounded by thinks something with the freezer cooling is wrong. There is nothing wrong with the cooling but the beeping will not stop. It goes off each 5 minutes. I found this problem over two weeks ago and Samsung has not resolved the issue. So I didn't want to pay $$$ to have my LG fridge flat when all searches on Google said it was this low cost feeler. So I bought this, and ongoing the long tough task of disassembling the freezer screened-off area. Well it wasn't easy, but once it was all full away from each additional we were able to basically bed in the feeler. Make sure you have zip ties void as they are used to glue it to the coils. I would urge that you do it physically, but only if reduction the $$$ is value it to you.

It holds ALOT of food. The doors hold many condiments too. I like life able to open just one side of the fridge. My family loves the midpoint drawer. It minimizes the total fridge opening. I keep cheese, soda and luminous fill up and yogurt in the drawer. It is really handy. The freezer has two compartments on the bottom and then a slim drawer on top. These compartments make it really easy to organize your freezer. I read alot of reviews before I purchased this item. The largest, most consistent gripe was the ice maker. I have to agree that the ice maker is noisy when the fresh ice empties into the compartment. Also, there isn't a lot of ice. This isn't an issue for our family since we don't use lots of ice. If we are having a party, we always go out and buy ice, even when we had our old refrigerator. But if lots of ice is a big deal to you, you won't like this fridge. I get loads of compliments on the looks of the fridge too.

The refrigerator part of this unit has been fine, as has been the water dispenser. However, our unit is only 2 years old and the icemaker is dead or "inoperable" as our technician tells us. The flapper on the door dispenser also has an air leak. Called Samsung because it seems that the icemaker was faulty coming out of the factory. They will not do anything to cover the cost because the refrigerator only had a one-year warranty. So if you do buy this unit, invest in an extended warranty. Even if you push it shut you really need to push it hard and make sure it shuts. I have found it vaguely ajar more than once, and we are a family with teens who surely know how to slam shut a fridge. I wish it had a door alarm to alert you when it's open. It's the only thing that we don't like about this fridge.
