I replaced the defrost thermostat in my refrigerator with this part along with a new defrost timer. I really do not know for guaranteed which old part was bad but the fridge facility impeccably now. This thermostat is a perfect replacement fit. The only thing I would do different next calculate is to use my own shrink tubing since the ones provided with the thermostat are too rigid and do not shrink completely around the supplied crimp connectors, which could allocate moisture into the tie. But I am happy with the manufactured goods itself and especially the good fee.
