Summit : FF1325SS 10.4 cu. ft. Counter-Depth Top-Freezer Refrigerator - Stainless Steel Doors Latest Reviews

Summit : FF1325SS 10.4 cu. ft. Counter-Depth Top-Freezer Refrigerator - Stainless Steel Doors Latest ReviewsI purchased this fridge since I had a tiny kitchen. On a cu ft basis it is one of the most high-priced fridges you can buy. I have redone 3 kitchens in the past 5 years, and have spent about $30,000 on appliances. I have never seen such poor feature. The MAIN conundrum is that the refrigerator slopes--the underneath is 2" additional away from the wall than the top even after I chat the legs as far into the hollow space as doable--it looks like a s___ show. I called Mark Goldman (Peak consumer benefit) to help solving the conundrum. First he claimed this was how the fridge was calculated--the door must close at a snail's pace. I said it doesn't--it SLAMS shut. Then plainly demonstrating the point story was improper, Mark told me I could build up my floor with shims! I said that was ridiculous for $1000 fridge (it's $300 extra for the icemaker). He said I looked-for proof there was a conundrum, so I sent an email with a photo of the one-sided fridge and a photo of a 36" level on the floor to show it was level (i tried to paste photos here, but can't). Under difficulty from the peddler, Peak sent a benefit rep. The benefit rep agreed the floor was level and the legs were into the hollow space, so there was not anything he could do to fix the conundrum--that there was plainly a manufacturing or point flaw. When Peak expected this in rank, they said since it wasn't a MANUFACTURING flaw (it was the point flaw--so ALL fridges will have the same conundrum), they weren't vital to do whatever thing about it. So I'm income with the conundrum. As an aside, the rest of the feature is no best. the produce drawer is fake and doesn't slide on the guides well, so soon it will break no topic how strict I am.

I relied heavily on reviews so wanted to leave one for myself. Forget the model digit but I got the bottom freezer, SS, icemaker, roughly 2'x6' in 2011. A lot of what I scan was true: low-deprivation drawers, after you close the frig lobby it gets sucked in for 10-15 seconds. Not a big transact business as a 2nd unit but if it were in my main kitchen this (& the drawers perhaps) would get on my nerves at times (soothe if you had to be inflicted including a small frig I reflect you can get used to it). I scan everywhere blast was a big issue. I've heard it occur on but has by no means troubled me. If there were lingering spells everywhere I was quiet in the constant area then maybe; but so far I've barely noticed it. Also, extremely pleased w the interior interval/ridge options for the opportunity it takes up (again 2nd frig).I've had it in this area 3-4 months and (knock on wood) haven't had any problems. Actually I love it since it fits of laughter impeccably and has everything I wanted: tall, watery, bottom freezer, icemaker AND counterdepth!...didn't reflect all that was possible. I was unimpressed from some negative reviews but after an exhaustive search Summit was the only brand that had all these things. If you're in the constant situation then I say pull the trigger and buy it but try to bring about out some kind of insurance if it does not get on to the grade on you or you don't like it for some mind. Skilled luck!
