I bought this refrigerator 2 years ago and it has kaput twice already. The first time it was the thermostat. Then it was the electronic power. All the food has had to be thrown out twice and it has cost $343 to fix all so far. Now we are getting a lot of frost in the freezer. I'll never purchase a Vortex again!

As other reviewers have noted, these Vortex refrigerators are useless items. We have one - not this exact develop save for close sufficient - and have the constant issues - just after the warranty ran out the control board had issues and it bunged car-defrosting which caused it to get warm inside due to blocked air flow. The renovate was about $300. And a year later, this has happened over again. If Vortex had any integrity they would be doing a great recall/refund save for they are doing not anything. Just pay attention to these reviews, and if you're export a refrigerator, approve of some other strain.

A link of being ago this fridge had pretty good reviews, so I ignored the warnings and bought it. What could go ill-treat? I thought broadcast who needed a door timer telephone logic must be pretty unconscious. Well, my bad. These doors don't accurate like single doors; there's a means in the median and it now and again keeps the doors from dying. You find out the next daylight, when the fridge has given up and all is warm and ruined.The freezer has a akin conundrum. If you fill it good and full, equipment can try out it from dying completely. . .and over again, it shuts off and lets all thaw. Plus, there seems to be an inherent design flaw that causes ice to form in the freezer back, blocking the drain in anticipation of fill up drips out the front. I found a YouTube cure but it could cost if you're not clever with tools.All this, and I didn't even know about the problems other broadcast have had! To tell the certainty, even if, I like the design and mine has been pretty dependable. But the lack of a door timer telephone logic, coupled with the means that prevents assured dying, is a honest flaw.
