I received this item numerous days before than I probable. The installation caught up some of the usual first time head scratching but all in all was a easy task. If I ever had to do it a following time it would be a 10 little job. No more frost in the point chute means no more ice jams. I actually like that final pop when it seals.

Wrong part was very tricky to get return authorization number then they said part was lost I had to look up tracking number and took 2 more weeks to get credit I won't use them again.

Great price a must if you use the ice maker a lot. Not sure how long it will last. If it's works for 1 time ill be happy. My kids use the ice maker a lot so they probably wear it made known. If your water stops working its probably the plastic piece that holds the wiring together. Pretty easy to replace.
