Frigidaire 5303917954 Defrost Thermostat for Refrigerator Reviews

The price for this can't be flush even if you be inflicted including to cut and join wires. No bid transact business. These vacant out seems to be a common problem and after some research the parts are pretty universal. This section is how the fridge knows it's chilled up and needs defrosted. This unit was just so like the one I took out of the fridge including the exception of the sort.If you want to test your old one before purchasing this just take it out and follow these 2 steps:1. As it's warmed up try out for continuity between the 2 wires including a multi-measuring device. There shouldn't be any.2. Decline the thermostat into a glass of ice water for several minutes and try out again. There should be continuity. If you get readings additional than this the unit is bad and needs replaced. Just since you hear it click as it gets not more than 30 degrees (clear or minus a few degrees), doesn't median the thermostat is skilled.I hope this review helps :)

The heat lessen is way to big. Couldn't get it snug with a blow dryer on high, so tried a contest with no luck. Had to cut the connectors and redo it with my heat lessen I had on hand. Other than that manufactured goods performed fine. I changed this from 3 stars to 4 since the price was good and all else about the manufactured goods worked perfectly. Redoing the heat lessen and equipment was just a bit of a pain but doesn't deserve 3 stars.
